Our goal is to continue membership growth and to reach out by sharing our good fortune helping others in our community.
The Maine Obsolete Auto League was organized in 1948 and incorporated in 1965. Originally it had four regions. They were Seacoast, (Kittery to Portland). Dirigo (Bridgton to Damariscotta). Bunyan (Bangor to Calais) and Aroostock County. The Pleasant Mountain Chapter of Bridgton was the first chapter in the Dirigo area in the early 70's. Many of the original members are still with us today. As far back as the 50's the members would meet weekly at their homes and hold monthly business meetings.
In good weather the members enjoy partiipating in scenic cruises.
Our plan is to continue sponsoring students involved in the automotive industry to further their education.
We hold weekly cruise nights from May to September on Wednesday nights at 5pm at Beef & Ski in Bridgton.
If you would like to join us and start a new chapter in your life, you can join us by filling out the application with a small yearly fee of $15.00 made out to MOAL, Pleasant Mountain Chapter.
